We had a very nice meal...crunchy pork belly salad for me &amp; housemade fettuccine &amp; shrimp for my husband with a lobster taco with avacado as a shared appetizer. All were great &amp; our server was very attentive. Nice atmosphere at the end of union market.

Bidwell Restaurant

As a Chinese restaurant, this restaurant is still quite popular in the local area, and it is a local dish. Fried shrimp, braised pork, scallion noodles and other dishes are all authentic. So Chinese tourists and Chinese are mostly.

Ordered a 50-50 rice-slaw dish with pork on top. This place is in the back of the food court and worth the walk. You select your base, add your protein, and top off with a sauce selection. Was a quick meal, and there are enough other places that everyone in the family was happy.

Was invited to a business dinner here. We started with oysters which were fresh and tasty. Shredded brussel sprout salad with salmon serve as my entree and it too was good at every bite.

This Union Market eatery looks nice, clean, fresh. Good service, but small/simple menu food descriptions eclipse food. Had the butternut squash soup, which was very good, and served hot, always questionable...but the main course, the turkey burger on toasted seeded bun (bun was very good) was disappointing. Turkey had to flavor and was sufficiently undercooked that it lacked any hint of searing/broiling/grilling...way too squishy. Comes with avocado, lettuce, tomato, pickle and choice of salad or fries. Had the salad, which is just a small serving of their house salad...barely any dressing and what there was was concentrated on a few leaves (pretty limp) at the bottom. Coffee was terrific and it wasn&#39;t crazy busy, so we could spend time without being rushed or feeling guilty. Most of the eateries here are to go or casual dining; this is a proper restaurant with servers. Brianna, our server, was attentive and efficient.

We love the Union Market vibe, especially on a warm sunny Spring evening. And we&#39;ve had decent breakfast and lunches at Bidwell in the past. However, this was a horrible experience. The waiters were confused and when we order a drink it took 15 minutes to arrive. I never send a drink back, but the martini must have been 50% sweet vermouth: totally undrinkable! The replacement drink came long after we completed meals. We shared the lobster taco which was okay. I had a daily special of sausage stuffed squid, which was unique and very good. My wife had the grilled vegetables which were tasteless. After this experience we are not likely to return.
